Immune System
The reason why we get sick is the failure of our immune system to keep a pathogenic invasion of our body suppressed. Old age, cigarette smoking, mental stress, poor nutrition and a lack of adequate sleep have all been associated with a decrease in immune system functioning. When the immune system is weakened, a virus has more chance of taking hold.
Our genes play a role in the strength of our immune systems. Depending on how the genes of our parents cross the natural prowess of each person’s immune system will vary.
Our diets are very crucial in the well-being of our immune systems. Lacking vitamins will result in a weakened immune system, as will the in-take of hard to process foods. Eating a natural, healthy, and varied diet will greatly increase the strength of one’s immune system. Any toxin you consume, be it in drug or food, diverts your immune systems attention.

Walk to Work and Get a Healthy Life
Walking on a regular basis is a good way to improve your fitness levels and can improve your health; deciding to walk to work can therefore be an effective way of incorporating more walking into your day in order to get healthier. After all, that is what legs are for and if you refrain from using them, you will miss various health benefits associated with the joy of walking.
Health professionals recommend 30 minutes of exercise four or five times per week, but if you are out of shape, you can start with a 5, 10 or 15-minute walk, and gradually work your way up to a half an hour.
Walking to work is one way of doing this. It might take a little bit longer to get to work, but it is you who will benefit in the end.Walking is much more than moving your legs back and forth. It encourages your heart to pump faster, your body to burn fat, your muscles to gain strength and so many other goodies that many people are unfortunately not aware of.

If I Am Sick, Should I Exercise?
For many, including this author, exercising out is an addiction. We plan our days around hitting the gym. However, when we are sick, the priorities should shift.
There are some myths to dispel when we talk about exercise and illness. We’ve all heard the “sweat it out” theory. This way of thinking leads us to maintain our level of intense workout thus sweating out all the bad toxins and virus’s that are causing us to be sick. This is simply not true. Sweating it out usually makes us less able to fight off infections rather than helping the situation.
Listed below are four reasons why I believe it is not right for a sick person to exercise or involve himself in any strenuous activity, though sometimes light exercises are also vital during treatment for certain diseases.
1.The Exercise Paradox: Just as we all know, too much of everything is bad, and likewise is it with exercise.

Daily Exercise
You know the times when you get home from work all tired and stressed out? If you experience the time more often, it is a sign that you need exercising. The problem is most people tell themselves they haven’t got time, but this is just an excuse.
Follow the 6 simple steps to add exercise to your day.
- Walk instead of Ride: So simple yet effective, if you only have a 30-minute walk to get to your destination you should walk.
- Stairs instead of Elevator: Simple again, when at work walk up stairs it is much better exercise than standing in a lift.
- Allow time for exercise: If you allow just 1 hour exercising a day than you will feel the difference.
- Get a gym pass: If you have one the chances are you will use it. If you have a nearby gym, there is no reason why you couldn’t fit in 30 minutes a night.
